Remember, there are a bunch of neutral countries in the southern hemosphere. Places like Argentina will 1) Attract techno-savvy refugees. 2) Buy what remains of our technology in exchange for their food. 3) They will help us rebuild. In exchange they will get ALL of our technology, the remainder of our military equipment andthey will own the stuff they help rebuild. We will own them a lot of money. 4) They will also influence our culture. Countries in the Southern Hemosphere will effectively start playing the role of US and EU, while North America will start playing the role Latin America played in the 20th century. e I disagree with the idea that the entire civilization would be destroyed and life will go back 200 years.
